Singapore-based Biosensors International has launched its BioMatrix Flex drug-eluting stent system in major European markets and selected regions in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The stent is approved for a comprehensive range of indications, including STEMI (ST elevated myocardial infarction), acute coronary syndromes and diabetes mellitus.
The Biosensors’ device also incorporates a new stent platform, a biodegradable polymer and a proprietary drug which deliver a clinical advantage over products from Boston Scientific, J&J and Abbott. Never heard of them? This is one small device company you should know.
